West Seattle ferry dock is 20 minutes from SeaTac International airport. Ferry service runs three routes to the Island, giving you options
Ferries
Way easier than San Juan ferry system. No reservations
1. West Seattle to Vashon. Washington St. ferries. Takes cars and pedestrians about every hour, 7 days a week. 20 minute crossing
2. Downtown Seattle to Vashon. Pedestrians only. Weekdays only, six sailings per day. 25 minute crossing time
3. Pt. Defiance (Tacoma) to Vashon (Tahlequah terminal). Takes cars and pedestrians about every hour, 7 days a week. 15 minute crossing time
Ground transportation
1. School bus rental available to transport guests to/from AirBnBs and your event or to/from SeaTac airport. Three types of buses available
2. On-island private taxi services also for hire
Private Boat
Navigate to Quartermaster Harbor and moor your boat at either Quartermaster Marina https://quartermastermarinavashon.com/guest-moorage or Quartermaster Yacht Club https://qycv.org/Visitor-Info, both of which are located two miles from the venue and a short walk to Lavender Hill Farm, affiliated Air B n B. Private taxis are available to transport you to the venue
